Biography
Elizabeth Lancaster has been creating images from an early age. Growing up, she had an early obsession with the paper dolls of Tom Tierney, carefully studying the various eras of costume and dress and making her own. In college, she received a BFA in Painting, honing her eye for color and composition. After beginning her career in the worlds of styling, visual merchandising, and vintage in Boston, MA, life brought her to New Mexico, where she joined up with the circus that is film and television production, and has never looked back! She worked her way through many different positions in the Costume Department, giving her a firm grasp of the needs of various members of the Department. Elizabeth has worked on Contemporary, Period, Old Western, and Postapocalyptic films and TV, experiencing the vast range of what Costumes can accommodate. Elizabeth has been happily designing TNT's The Last Ship, a post-pandemic action series starring Eric Dane, Adam Baldwin, and Bridget Regan, for three seasons now.
